At Granville County United Way, we know that lasting change starts with the organizations doing the groundwork every day. Our nonprofit partners are the ones meeting neighbors where they are, addressing critical needs, and creating opportunities that strengthen our community. 

You understand the challenges our neighbors face because you are in the community - providing services, building relationships, and creating solutions. Whether you're applying for Community Impact funding, sharing data, collaborating on programs, or connecting resources, your partnership helps us better understand needs and maximize our collective impact.

QUARTERLY REPORTS
  • Maximum Request: $1,500
  • Application Period: July – May
  • Funding Frequency: Organizations may apply once every 12 months.
  • Purpose: To support programs and services that improve the lives of Granville County residents.

The Community Impact Grant is Granville County United Way’s larger competitive funding opportunity designed to support nonprofit organizations creating measurable, lasting change for Granville County residents.

  • Supports programs and services that address critical community needs.
  • Invests in organizations that are improving lives and strengthening our community.
  • Prioritizes programs with measurable outcomes and demonstrated impact.

Eligible applicants include:

  • 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
  • Schools and educational organizations
  • Government agencies
  • Community organizations providing services to Granville County residents

Organizations outside of Granville County may apply if their program directly serves Granville County residents.

Quarterly reports help us:

  • Measure Impact – Understand how programs are improving lives and addressing community needs.
  • Track Progress – Review program activities, goals, and outcomes throughout the funding period.
  • Share Success Stories – Highlight the important work being done by our nonprofit partners.
  • Identify Challenges – Learn about barriers organizations may be experiencing and explore opportunities for support or collaboration.
  • Ensure Accountability – Confirm that funding is being used as intended and aligned with approved program goals.
  • Demonstrate Community Impact – Share the collective difference our nonprofit partners are making with donors, businesses, and community stakeholders.
