WHAT?

Day of Caring is a community-wide day of service where volunteers complete meaningful projects for local nonprofit organizations. Types of projects accepted: 

• landscaping
• painting
• organizating donations
• cleaning
• minor repairs
• assembiling kits
• office projects
• outdoor beautifications
• any other tasks that help nonprofits continue their important work

WHEN?

Day of Caring is held annually! 

Each year, it is generally held in the fall with volunteer check-in, project assignments, and service activities taking place throughout the day. 

WHERE?

Projects will be completed at participating nonprofit organizations and community locations throughout Granville County, allowing volunteers to directly support organizations where they are needed most. 

WHY?

Day of Caring is about more than just completing projects - it is strengthening our community through service and partnerships. 

By brining together volunteers, businesses, and community organizations together, we help nonprofits accomplish meaningful work while creating a stronger, healthier and more connected Granville County.
